For the record....

.... and not for any other reason I can really ascertain, I have a feeling of sadness in me about going to Vermont tonite. I don't know if it's because we're sure it'll be the last reunion that Daddy will be able to attend, or if it's because of my concern for Rusty being here without me while he's in such rough shape.

I look forward to the adventure part of it, sure. But there's just this underlying sadness... wish I could put my finger on it.

Well, anyway, I'm packed and ready to go. We set sail at 2:30am. Ugh. Gonna be a long drive with 2 smokers and I don't allow smoking in my car. We'll probably be having to stop a lot more. Oh well.

Goin out to dinner with Dave for my b'day tonite. I'll get to ride in the new Mini-Cooper! Cool. Then, it's home to catch a couple of hours sleep before shoving off.

I'll be back on Monday evening, but dunno if I'll write until Tuesday. We'll see.
